Q: What makes a Pretti Baked cake special?
A: A Pretti Baked cake is made with the freshest ingredients available and a tonne of love!
Every cake is unique and special in its own little way!
We pride our selves on knowing the right amount of sweetness that doesn't make your teeth hurt! We use Swiss buttercream or ganache ONLY which makes our cakes a real treat. Most cakes are filled with either whipped cream or American buttercream (which uses icing sugar) as it is cheaper but however taste wise, our buttercream takes the cake!
Besides tasting amazing, our cakes also look stunning!!!
Q: Are your goodies Halal?
A: Yes!
We are a Muslim owned business!
Q. When will my order be ready?
A: We need a minimum of 6 days to get your cakes & cupcakes ready!
Other goodies need a minimum of 3 days!
You can also let us know the specific date you want your order. Please be mindful that that date is 6 or more days in advance of the order date
Q. What are the time slots for delivery/ collection?
A: We have two slots a day.
Morning: 10am - 12pm
Afternoon: 2pm - 5pm
If you have a very specific time in mind between this slot, let us know and we will do out best to accommodate!
Q: Do you deliver? And what are your rates?
A: Yes, we do deliver!
Our rates defer on the product as some of our products need more care on delivery than others. The rates may range from $10 onwards. To get the exact rate, please add the goods to your cart and select your shipping option.
Q: Do you have a self collection option?
A: Yes! However, this is on appointment basis. Before you check out, please remember to add the date of collection and the exact time you want to pick your goodies
Q. Do you do fondants cakes?
A: We do not! The reason being, fondant does not taste yummy. Besides the occasional unicorn or some specific deco, we do not use fondant in any of our cakes/ cupcakes
Q: I didn't like your cake! I want a refund!!!
A: We are sorry our goodies did not meet your expectations. As per our terms and conditions, we are unable to offer you a refund as all sales are considered final.
Q: What hygiene measures are you taking with preparing your cakes?
A: We have a certificate in Basic Food and Beverage Hygiene. Hygiene is one of our top priorities! Besides wearing masks, gloves and washing our hands regularly, we also sanitize all our equipment and our kitchen space very often.
Q. Are your cakes gluten free/ vegan/ sugar free?
A: Sorry at the moment we do not have any options for the above. However, please get in touch with us via the custom cake page and we will try to see if we could accommodate your request!
Q: Do you do wedding cakes, custom birthday cakes, favors etc?
A: We do! Get in touch with us via our custom cakes page, provide us with as much details as possible and we will get back to you with a quote!
Q. Why are your cakes so expensive?
A: A Pretti Baked cake is made with really good quality, fresh ingredients which are not the cheapest option on the market. There’s also the hours of labour that go into procurement of ingredients, baking, cleaning and decorating that are factored in. Just like you, we need to pay our electricity, water and gas bills. After spending hours on creating a beautiful cake, we too deserve some profit that can help us put food on the table right?
We understand that there are definitely cheaper options on the market and this by no means suggesting that they are inferior to ours. This is merely an explanation as to what is factored into our pricing.
At the moment we are not able to offer or match the price of bulk produced cakes, maybe in the future.
But our cakes are home-made with love and passion. They are made EXCLUSIVELY for your special occasions and customized to suit your requirements!
